Gabriella Carden is a music devotee. After playing the piano, recorder, and flute during childhood, she moved on to the guitar, studying the instrument for nearly eight years. She first started out on the Spanish guitar like her father did, but later shifted to electric due to her interest in rock music. Gabriella Carden currently owns a Fender Telecaster, which she received as a gift for her 18th birthday, and which she hopes to hook up to a real Marshall stack amplifier sometime in the future. She also recently started learning to play bass guitar.
In addition, Carden is an athlete who once swam competitively at the national level. Today, she enjoys playing golf with her brothers and father. Also an avid runner, Carden is a regular participant at the annual Cancer Race for Life event. She is currently trying to accomplish the athletic goal of finishing a marathon, and hopes to complete one either in New York or Paris, or on her home turf in London.
